"Pokémon with guns" that actually turned out to be an absolute blast. Came for the memes, stayed for the incredibly addictive gameplay loop. It's fun, chaotic, and highly recommended.
I genuinely had way more fun with this than I expected. Playing with friends is 100% the best part. Everyone ends up doing their own thing, someone disappears for an hour, someone else comes back with five new Pals, and somehow everything still works. Also... having an entire base full of Pals doing all the work while I walk around pretending I'm being productive is way funnier than it should be. The world is also way bigger than it looks. Every time I thought I'd seen most of it, I ended up finding another area or another Pal I wanted to catch. Really good game if you're looking for something to waste an unhealthy amount of time on.

I'll just do one thing.
Finds a new Pal.
Builds a better base.
Unlocks new tech.
Gets distracted by something else.
Somehow, every distraction is progress. Started as "Pokémon with guns." Became one of the best sandbox survival games I've played. Pocketpair listened, improved, and kept building on the idea. good update, very smooth and stable, both client and dediced server!
Palworld is an odd phenomenon. Parts of the game are pretty fun if you can look past how it feels like it's half finished. The game has basically no polish and certain aspects of it are extremely janky. Once you get to the end game there's no real crescendo or story conclusion it's just all grind. You can adjust the world settings to make it a little less so but some items are so egregious in the requirements that a save editor is the only sane solution for acquiring them.
i don't usually like survival games but Palworld is fun , has a bunch of unexpected things you can do in it and really cool designed Pals. This game appeals to a lot of different player types, I'm more of the adventuring type and it scratches that itch for me. Very fun playing in a server with my community and friends. Performance is really solid on both my main rig and my laptop.
