What players say
Pretty good game, albeit repetitive and low budget, It is a shame that most people didn't stick with it, as the game's story is actually quite good, with massive lore implications!
One of my favorite RE games. Story may sound stupid at times, but this was the best RE game we had since RE4 back in the days. Very addictive Raid mode.
It is not a good game it runs fine but the story is meh at best and unless you just want to play all RE games don't get it its fine for one playthrough but if you want replayability its not a good RE for that.
Overall a bad entry in the series as I feel it lacks in interesting characters and gameplay but I have little to say about this game and see it as just forgettable with very few positives and those are: Claire, Barry, and Alex Wesker. 4/10
I played Revelations 2 off of the coattails of Revelations 1. Revelations 2 is somehow a substantially worse entry even though it benefits from some of the more recent RE systems. The story isn't good, the characters are uninteresting, the dialogue is bad, the weapon customization is too sparse, the level design is poor, and the ally AI is horrible. While I'm a fan of action survival horror, this is much more of an action game than anything. There were many times where I thought the game was poorly designed (especially the escape sequence from the tower). I would say my favorite three things about this game are the invisible enemy mechanics, the final battle, and the fact that I'm done with this entry. This game was an absolute slog to get through and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemies.
Thanks to this, it is now canon that Alex Wesker is kinning that mf cockroach Gregor, which Franz Kafka wrote about. Peak lore but the game is still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, almost had a stroke while forcing myself to finish this slop.
