They vaulted my paid content. They said it was temporary. They lied about why they did it. They killed the game and never brought it back.

good game but better if played with friends. had some of the funniest moments just chilling in orbit

They should have never killed this over Marathon. That game is so ♥♥♥♥ and I’m tired of being gaslighted that it’s not so I wrote this review instead. I’m not going quietly. For all its issues, Destiny 2 is a part of my childhood and Destiny 1 as well. Killing this franchise and continuing to ignore its player base, while actively supporting a game that was dead on launch, and blaming all their failures on destiny while also praising a literal dead game on their earnings call is truly pathetic. I will continue to rage against the machine and play this game until the lights go out. ♥♥♥♥ Sony and ♥♥♥♥ Bungie leadership for letting this happen. The most I can hope for is for others to do the same. Stay strong Guardians.

if you're going to stop updating the game at least unvault the old content

I will miss this... I've played for years and met countless friends as a result of playing the fantastic raids in this game. The gunplay is second to none. The build-crafting is super fun. The music... the environment... the lore... No other game can fill the Destiny hole in my heart.

On July 21, 2026, Destiny 2: The Collection was around $13. On July 22, the exact same bundle jumped to roughly $24 while the sale was still running. The extra bundle discount was quietly reduced from about 52% to 15%, increasing the price by roughly 77% overnight. Maybe the original price was a mistake, but changing it without warning while still advertising “80% off” feels incredibly scummy.
