Ocarina of Time is coming back — reborn for Switch 2
Nintendo's own words: “The Nintendo 64 classic returns for a new generation in 2026, reborn exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.” Not a Nintendo Classics emulation — a full store listing of its own, and the biggest revival on the Switch 2 slate.

The greatest of all time, on paper
The 1998 original isn't just beloved — it is still the highest-rated game in Metacritic history at 99, a record that has stood for over 27 years. Z-targeting, the day-night cycle, the adult-and-child timeline — mechanics invented here became the grammar of 3D adventure games. “Reborn” is Nintendo's word, and it suggests more than a fresh coat of paint.

No trophies. Never needed them.
